Status and Prospects for Reactor Experiments

We review the history of reactor neutrino detection, from the pioneer experiments to the modern concept of multi-layered detectors dedicated to the measurement of the last undetermined mixing angle θ 13. Experiments heading toward full operations in the next couple of years are presented.
